1. Introduction

This report outlines the progress FaxSIPit Services Inc. has made toward fulfilling its Accessibility Plan published on July 22, 2024, as part of our obligations under the Accessible Canada Act and the CRTC Accessibility Reporting Regulations. We remain committed to identifying, removing, and preventing barriers for persons with disabilities and promoting an inclusive environment for employees, customers, and partners.

2. Progress on Accessibility Plan Commitments

Employment

2.1 Formalized Accommodation Policy

Status: Not yet formalized
While we have not created a written employment accessibility policy, all accommodation requests are handled in alignment with British Columbia’s employment laws, which include protections and accommodations for persons with disabilities.

2.2 Accommodation Awareness During Onboarding

Status: Actioned
New employees are informed, during onboarding, that FaxSIPit adheres to BC employment laws, including the right to request accommodations.

2.3 Accessible Leased Office Spaces

Status: Compliant
FaxSIPit's Vancouver office is located in a Federally regulated building, which complies with the Accessible Canada Act (ACA) to ensure physical accessibility for employees and visitors.

2.4 Home Office Accessibility Support

Status: Actioned
We provide a budget for home office equipment and furnish tax documentation (e.g., T2200 forms) to support remote work arrangements and home-based accommodations.

Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)

2.5 Accessible Video Training Materials

Status: Actioned and Ongoing
We have released new captioned video content and plan to expand this library further. These resources will be featured more prominently on our website to support customer understanding of our products.

Communications Other Than ICT

2.6 Inclusive Communication Guidelines

Status: Actioned
We developed and distributed internal communication guidelines that reinforce respectful, professional language, with an emphasis on inclusivity and appropriate references to people with disabilities.

Procurement of Goods, Services, and Facilities

2.7 Vendor Accessibility Evaluation

Status: Not Yet Actioned
No changes have been made to our procurement policies. We acknowledge the importance of considering accessibility in vendor evaluations and aim to revisit this in future reporting cycles.

Design and Delivery of Programs and Services

2.8 Product Accessibility in Design Process

Status: Actioned (Ongoing Review)
We continually assess and refine our product UX based on customer feedback and industry best practices. While not formalized as a separate accessibility track, we aim to maintain a simple, user-friendly design for all users, including those with varying abilities.

3. Feedback Summary

No accessibility-related feedback was received during the reporting period. Nonetheless, our feedback channels remain active and monitored.

4. Next Steps

For the 2025–2026 reporting cycle, we plan to:

  • Consider formalizing an employment accessibility policy, including accommodation procedures.

  • Explore ways to integrate accessibility into vendor evaluations.

  • Continue expanding our library of captioned support and training videos.

  • Evaluate potential additions to our product development processes to better support accessible design principles.
